Join Pine Creek, Rock Lake, Whitman, and Palouse Conservation Districts for a joint meeting on Thursday February 8th, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds Community Building outside Colfax. The program will feature a panel of area growers, overview of funding opportunities and programs from local agencies, and 2023 highlights from each conservation district.
Special presenters include:
Abigail Nickelson, Washington State Department of Agriculture; “Pesticides and Water Quality”
Christopher McCullough, Washington State Department of Agriculture; “Pesticide Stewardship Programs: Helping growers adapt to label changes”
Aaron Esser, Washington State University; “Using Cover Crop to Enhance Weed Control”
Three pesticide education credits available. Lunch and refreshments provided. Raffle items available thanks to our generous sponsors.
